My name is Maria Kristel Ornedo but I mostly want people to call me Kristel. Don’t ask me why I don’t go by Maria. I just don’t. I’m a 3/4 Filipino and 1/4 Spaniard. I am 4’11. Yes, I’m very short and it’s actually a miracle that I got in to the army considering my height. Although I’m too much of a shorty, I push myself to achieve a lot of things a lot of people can’t. I’m in the national guard. I don’t like it much because I think it’s a waste. I’m also going to school for nursing. :)
I like to read. You can’t pull me away from a book especially when it’s really good. Anime is my passion. Give me a name of a good anime series and I will be blowing through the whole thing in about 2 days or so. I love working out and keeping in shape. I hate running, but if you decide to run with me, I’ll probably consider it. I’m half of a follower, and half of a leader. I like hiking, mainly because I feel very rewarded when I get to the top. I love my dogs. They are my babies. :)
I’m a happy person most of the time. I smile even when it’s really hard to. I try not to let things get to me. I can be very emotional. I try not to take things too seriously. I’m very driven. When I want something, I will do everything it takes to get it. I love my friends and family. I will do whatever it takes to protect them. I’m strong willed and I will never give up unless it has given up on me.
